Andre Van Heerden is making some awesome knives as of late and here is one of the latest. An M27 gents pocket knife outfitted with some high tech materials.
Starting out… with the clip point blade of this piece is crafted from Mike Norris stainless damascus which has been etched. There is a spun titanium thumbstud with an inlay which I believe is ebony. The blade centering and seating are well executed as is the action of this beauty.
The frame is made from polished titanium which has been anodized gold. Copper niobium superconductor material has been used for the bolsters with dovetailed joints into the scales. The pivot is hidden giving a super clean appearace to the skin of this knife. Lightning strike carbon fiber has heen selected for the scales finishing off the ultra tech appearance. Some very serious pocket bling!
